As part of the Zukunftsinitiative Bahnbau (ZIB – Future Initiative for Rail Construction), the RSRG is involved in four trial concepts addressing key levers in rail construction under the current 100-day programme. valoon.chat is being tested for the digital creation of site diaries directly from construction-site communication. In parallel, the RSRG is working on deeper data integration between contractors and Deutsche Bahn AG for greater transparency, fewer frictional losses and more partnership-based project delivery.
With TrackBot, nomantrackwork aims to set new standards in track construction as robotics automates repetitive activities, improves occupational safety and increases both productivity and execution quality.
With enablemyteam, the RSRG uses AI to detect construction elements automatically in laser scans and point clouds. This accelerates BIM model creation and establishes a robust digital foundation across the entire project life cycle.
