Rhomberg Bahntechnik is currently significantly involved in as many as three of the most important large-scale railway projects in Europe: RBT is working for ÖBB on the Koralm Tunnel between Carinthia and Styria. As part of the Joint Ventures "FF Koralm" and "BTA Koralm", the 34.1 kilometre long section of the "Koralm Railway" is constructed and fully equipped. The main components of these two lots are the construction of 66 kilometres of slab track in the tunnel and the full railway infrastructure. equipment. In Lot 1, the JV is also responsible for the construction of the shoulders and side-walks as well as the ballasted approach sections to the tunnel portals; in Lot 2, all cable construction services, telecommunications, energy and safety technology, mechanical systems as well as construction services such as breakthroughs and metal construction are included. 

For Deutsche Bahn, the company is responsible for track construction and railway infrastructure for the entire new line between Wendlingen and Ulm in various joint ventures and for the construction of slab track on two sections directly at the new underground main station in Stuttgart and between the airport and the Neckar river as part of the "Stuttgart 21" project.  

Also for Deutsche Bahn, RBT is furthermore part of the "Partnership Model Rail" for the construction of the New Cottbus Plant: For the new construction of the ICE maintenance plant in Cottbus, the client is for the first time opting for a completely new contract model. It envisages that planning and construction companies will be involved in the project at a very early stage. The individual construction phases and costs will be planned and agreed jointly. 

All in all, the company is thus realising contracts from Deutsche Bahn and ÖBB with a total value of well over half a billion euros.
